The Storyboard Pre-Designed Layout
Think of the Storyboard as your virtual classroom or lecture room. Each area of the Storyboard has been pre-set for the placement of specific media features. These pre-set placements enable you to add pictures, text, sounds, music, videos and so on to your Storyboard using a simple process of browsing for media, selecting media, previewing media and saving media (browse, click, preview go!).
The benefit of using this pre-set or pre-designed format is two fold.
-
Second, the pre set layout has been created using a Scientific approach known as Symbolistics. This approach uses precise placement and careful calculations for where different media can be placed on the screen. Unlike other software where you can simply add graphics or text wherever you would like on a page, the Storyboard software offers you specific locations on the screens for which media can be added.
What this does is create a proven and effective delivery system of your material that overcomes learning challenges and supports the multiple intelligences of each learner.
